Heather Ridge Pet Hospital is very excited to host a Dermatology Clinic on the last monday of each month.  Dr. Nicole Heinrich, from McKeever Dermatology, will be giving consultations for many dermatologic conditions such as allergies, autoimmune disease, ear infections and other skin diseases. She is able to perform intradermal skin testing on-site, which is the gold standard for allergy testing.

If you are interested in having an intradermal skin test performed the day of your examination, please be aware of the following withdrawl times for medications:

• 1 week off all antihistamines (Benadryl®, chlorpheniramine, etc...)
• 2 weeks off all oral and topical steroids/prednisone (most eye and ear drops contain steroids...call us if you are unsure)
• 6 weeks off injectable steroids (vetalog, depo-medrol)
• Atopica--no withdrawl necessary
