Dr. Jenny Clementson is happy to be returning "home" as a veterinarian at Heather Ridge Pet Hospital. She attended Augustana College (Go Augie, Go Augie, Go!) before earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree with honors from the University of Minnesota in 2007. Since then, Dr. Clementson has practiced vet med in Sioux Falls for over 18 years, gaining experience across a wide range of clinical settings and building strong relationships within the community. In addition to general companion animal medicine and surgery, her professional interests include dentistry, ultrasound, feline medicine and conservation medicine. Outside of work, she stays busy keeping up with her three teenage daughters many activities and caring for her lively menagerie of pets: dogs Frankie (an angel golden retriever) and Suni (a naughty French bulldog), two rescue cats Mo and Marie, a guinea pig named Hershey, a bearded dragon named Cinnamon Toast Crunch, and seven fish! In her spare time (haha!), she enjoys reading, traveling, drawing, and has recently started learning printmaking.
